Yep, it will be enough, but you might want to save up and get something a little better so you have options down the road. The ibook will work for you though.

About the screen shot thing, if your on a Mac. you can just press shift.command (or the Apple key). the #3 all at once. It will put a jpeg on your desktop.

I just had the same thing happen. let's see. Try trashing your Audi / Midi setup preferences. See if that works.
