WARNING!!!!! Stay away from any removable drives on XP. Stay away from NTFS. There are fatal bugs with NTFS and Microsoft XP. A firewire drive formatted in HFS+ should not be plugged into an XP...

For the price, there is not a better system around than the Mbox. Plus, it is very cool to carry a 32 track system around in your backpack.

bounce qt midi to disk

In Pro Tools Free we have midi tracks using quicktime midi. Is there a way to bounce them do disk or do I need to take the files to Pro Tools LE.

A final note about buying a Mac. They all have the same architecture! It makes no difference what MAC you buy. That is one of the reasons it is such a great platform.

Can you simply erase the drive? That works well. If you need to back up data, how about saving it to another drive, erasing the data drive and restoring it?

XP file corruption issue
