Hi Jesus, I tried that; I used my primary SDD instead of the dedicated internal HDD but I had same issue.It was crashing everytime that I was saving (or autosave.. which initially drove me crazy...

I wasn't clear; I meant that I was pushed by the lack of RTAS support by third parties plugins.

That was a mistake... Check the Komplete 9 webpag at NI.com now. In requirements, it also states support for "RTAS (protools 9 and 10)".
BTW, I am one of the stupid people who is still using RTAS...

Go to ebay! PT 8 LE is everywhere and you can get it for less than 50 bucks for sure! Keep in mind that you don't need a physical iLok for any version 8 or lower so you won't have installation...
