I have no software update available to Catalina just macOS Monterey would move across to that if it sorts the issue out. But may need to check plugins etc before doing anything drastic...

Having contacted Avid support I still have problems getting any audio output even from ProTools Ultimate 2021.12.0 after updating the HD driver and installing the newer software...
