yeah but that's what they'd sort out by optimising it for 4k, the text etc wouldn't be mega small. but the waveforms etc would all be high res, for example.

the fact it still has old school blue...

title says it all really... I'm blown away that it's not 4k ready now tbh... I didn't notice it too much on mac but now I've switched to Windows it feels like it's desperately needed tbh.

ok I've sorted it!!

Just needed to go into BIOS and actually 'enable' Thunderbolt in there. I've got my HD Native Thunderbolt unit and 2x UAD Satellite boxes all being fed from the one port.

Pro Tools 2021.6, HD Native - will GPU increase speed/reduce lag?

Since updating to Big Sur and Pro Tools 2021.6, I've felt a noticeable visual lag & also occasional errors on the screen - where a track appears as a solid black bar across the screen, for example....
