All I want is for my pro tools interface (96io) to work on Windows 7 (64 bit) in windows media player... firefox, etc... Pretty basic stuff I'd think...

Is this at all possible...? Seems silly...

I just installed it and did the basic windows tweaks and it works just fine...

Also note, the UAD pluggins have huge latency/delays, so you wouldn't wanna be loading channels full of them....

The adc works as well, you don't have to use that ATA pluggin thing.

Yes it does. I run it with my protools8 HD2 PCIx with 64bit windows 7.

Hey. I've been running an HD2 pcix using the Asus P7P55D LE with no issues at all. (other people on here have run hd3 and it works fine too)
