Re: Eleven Plug-in free with Pro Tools 12 Purchase?

Hi,

Would anyone be able to help me with this? My Pro Tools 12 perpetual crossgrade from PT MP was activated on 10/19/2015, and I'm assuming I'm eligible for the free Eleven plug in? Thanks!

Re: Pro Tools LE to HD upgrade special: Open discussion

Good question. First post is about PT 8.0.1 being the end of software support for the MBox, Expansion HD, and Power PPC computers.

By the 3rd post "Mix-Era Peripherals" are still supported. This...

Re: Pro-tools Academic X Mac OS 10.5 ? not sure what's going on!

I have the USB-Pre and M-Powered Academic with the 7.4.2 upgrade that was given to me upon registering the product. I guess I'll have to contact M-Audio to fix the problem one way or another.

Re: Pro Tools LE to HD upgrade special: Open discussion

The ride *did* indeed end, unless they decided to support it again with PT 7 and 8, which I highly doubt.:D

I think we're possibly past a point of no return with this upgrade/exchange offer. ...

Re: Where is 96000.0 Hz sampling rate?

Grab an M-Audio Transit for a few bucks, you can open the session at that sample rate and bit length, on this interface, with a stereo output.

Re: Macbook - firewire - is there hope?

No worries, Apple still makes the 2.0 ghz Core Duo MacBook (white) for a Grand that has Firewire 400, It's just not on the product page.

Re: No Monitoring Available - MBox Mac - Pro Tools LE 7.4

Unfortunately, you can't monitor through the SP/DIF input directly, and requires a work around with an external mixer, or similar solution.

Re: No Monitoring Available - MBox Mac - Pro Tools LE 7.4

Something else must be up, since the MBox monitors the input to be recorded, before the A/D converter going into Pro Tools. Are you able to hear the input at all without a track being armed for...

I have an Apiotek 2-FW400/USB 2.0 Expresscard with the Texas Instruments chipset, that works great so far.

Re: Any recommended Glyph drives??

Some Pro Tools systems will not work properly with a Firewire drive running at 800mbps, and must use it connected as FW 400. The MBox2 Pro and the M-Audio interfaces are good examples of this.

This is really a personal preference-All of them work pretty much the same way, and usually have the same exact Oxford chipsets and internal drives made by various manufacturers.

I've had Glyph,...

Buffer Size with Pro Tools 8 LE and MBox 2 (USB)
