Mixing On Pro Tools LE

I'm hitting the road and need to Mix some small commercials from my laptop. Is this doable? Does anyone have experience doing this? Any pointers on being stuck with only Audio Suite and RTAS Plug Ins?

I should add that I've literally taken other clips of the same production audio and have been able to match most of it but some of it I just can't get that clean and clear with that volume??

What I am talking about is how to set up the dialogue chain to crush down the room tone in the production sound but raise the dialogue to be loud and clean without that tone coming up creating that...

I'm talking about mixing production tracks specifically...not replacing adr or noise reduction on bad audio....I'm talking about mixing normal sounding dialogue to sound like a big budget film.....

How do you Cali guys get your production tracks to be so quiet? I'm hip to using the C4 in noise reduction mode and this does help, but how do you get the the tracks super quiet and the dialogue loud...

Does anybody use the Digi 003 & Full Production Toolkit??

I need a 2nd system and I'm wondering how large of a session does this really support and if it's actually a viable solution for me? Also does it have to be on a G5 desktop or will a new imac work?...

Eh, I have and have had the same problem, and only automating snap shots and not parameters isn't so fun. I think I'll jump to AltiVerb, unfortunately I have 2 TL Space license... anyone want to buy...

G Drive Won't Play With PT8

I've formated the drive with Mac Extended, the audio files won't play in pro tools giving me a DAE Error -9060 and some other one. I had re same problem with another G Drive but formatting fixed it....

5.1 to Stereo Folddown Plug in?

Is there a plug in that I could insert on a master fader to record a stereo output from a 5.1 mix? I'm trying to avoid having to press my mix in 5.1, then pressing it again to fold it down to stereo....

Is anyone having issues with the D Control Monitoring Section? We are using TC Electronic EQ Stations that are hooked up to the X Mons, we do power down everynight....Our Level Calibration keeps...

OK I have Max OS X 10.4.7 and 7.1 I tried to d load the 10.4.6 updater it wouldn't install on my computer. I think I need a full install of 10.4.6 Is there anyway I could use 10.4.7 and 7.2?

My plug in works but everytime I asign it a DNS channel (aes 1 or 2) it crashes Pro Tools? Cedar said to download the CS6 which isn't for pt 7.1...any suggestions? Does this problem exsist in PT 7.2?
