You set the rate and bit depth when you create the session, but you can't change it later. You need to create a new session to do that.

Try creating a new session at 48/24.

If you have iZotope Ozone, the EQ in that plugin will do this.

You can snapshot the specturm too and use it, for example if you want to match the EQ of one track to another.

It's probably because you're using input only monitoring.
It's the same deal as if you record any other input.

I always have my system set this way, so I don't recall offhand where to change it....
