Pro Tools 12 isn't in my Avid account after I purchased an upgrade

12 hours now, got the purchase emails straight away, opened a case, still waiting.

its seems common, and quite useless. are the avid accounts stored on a vic20 perhaps?

Actually you do, it is because of ASIO direct monitoring that allows you to do exactly this.

Turning software monitoring off (ie thorugh the software), means turning ASIO direct monitoring on...

I had the same problem, its like anything DIGI just gave up, it was working fine one day, then both pro tools and the asio driver, pro tools didn't load, no splash screen, but is listed in task...

I have the exact same hang, the green bar fills to 100% and thats it, the installer hangs.


this is on a MacBook Pro 17" on the xp partition, where pro tools 7.1 worked ok before. it did...

Here is a real world example, I took my 002R to record a church organ album, all up I recorded about 6 hours worth of stuff on 5 tracks, mono and 2 stereo.
