I thought deleting the lproj would do the trick, but apparently it's only part of the story: menus are displayed in english, but windows (system performance, etc.) are still translated. Can't find...

Right-click on the Pro Tools application icon to open package, open Resource, get rid of the various language .lproj except english, and you are done.

The MIXcore and MIXfarm aren't among the incompatible cards. Only the MIX I/O which is an optional I/O card, seldom used in MIX configurations, is concerned. To recap, MIXcore and MIXfarm are OK...

What do you mean by "sounds"? Just samples? Programs? From what sampler? If you need to import raw samples in MachFive, just create a preset and drag/drop them from the finder to the center display....

It gets tempo information when used as a ReWire app with PT. I use 1.03c and was able to make it work in sync, including fills, etc. I love it. But it's a CPU hog.

DSP Farm:
Check for incompatibility with older DSP Farms and Apple G4 computers.
A rev "QC" or later of the AMCC chip is required for G4...

Yeah, well of course I know Altiverb is both RTAS and HTDM. I was juss' pointing out that the PT LE doesn't limit RTAS use to audio tracks as in TDM.
So, use Altiverb as an RTAS plug-in on an LE...

He'll be working on Pro Tools LE, so RTAS will work on Auxes. HTDM is for TDM systems. And will not work on LE systems.

Actually, Mach5 was developed by the team at USB (makers of UVI, Plugsound, etc.) and licensed to MOTU to sell it. Hope that the fact it is French do not deter any of you to buy it.

yeah, it works under OS 9 you can stream up to 8 outputs of the logic mixer (or, say virtual instruments) into ProTools' mixing environment, thru Direct Connect. It's good, for instance, to run those...

Seems I'm the only person out here that was actually using ESB under OS9 to send Logic outputs into Pro Tools the software --meaning: 2 separate apps running at the same time. You can't do it in X...

An HD1 isn't quite a MIXplus because there's not as many DSP chips: 9 instead of 12. One (or two) of which will be instantly eaten by the Pro Tools engine. Yeah, some plug-ins only run on SRAM chips....
