Melodyne not working on Ventura in PT 2022.12

Hi all, just installed PT 2022.12 on Ventura MacOS 13.1. When I instantiate Melodyne ara2 on a track, there are no melodyne blobs etc in the window. Has anyone else had this issue?

The only things preventing me from going back to PT11 after my excursion to Studio One are:
-11R window (most important)
-Slate plugins in AAX, which are supposed to be coming
-VCA groups in PT11...

I'm guessing no one has any further ideas, but in case it helps, it always crashes at the exact same timestamp the second time I bounce (3:14 minutes left).

ok well I tried to re-import session data into a new session (first time I do this so hopefully I didn't forget something obvious, but it seems to have worked). Same problem occuring part-way through...
