Re: h/w insert delay compensation not correct

Knowing exactly what interface and what hardware is in play might help the conversation;)

Re: How to copy a project

Hmmm, I'm on the regular version so things may be different, but... First off, stop creating "Projects" and start creating and working with "Sessions". As I understand it, a project lives in the...

Re: Quick Mute Headphones Feature?

Another option; feed your headphones via sends on your tracks and add a MASTER track assigned to the headphone outputs. Use that master to quickly mute or turn down. Having said that, I have never...

Re: Linking em up

If the 96 boxes have lightpipe IO, that's a great way to expand your options. Start by opening the Hardware page and see if lightpipe IO is shown. Next, open your IO setup>Input tab and see if the...

Re: Output shuts down when I bring up an older Pro Tools session from 6.9

Glad you found a way around the issue. There is one thing to look for, the next time you open an old session with this problem; open Setup>IO and select the Bus tab. Look down the list for any...

Re: Very Weird Behavior in Audiosuite?

Hmmm, first thing to check is whether PT 12.4 is compatible with Windows 10(I thought it was 12.5 that was the first to work with Win10). Then, I would check with Antares as it may be an Autotune...

Re: Linking em up

Good advice above. Since the 96 IO is limited with only 8 IO, I would start replacing them with used 192 IO's(buy whenever you find a super deal). As I said, the 192 can do 16 IO, depending on...

Re: HD Omni Revision HELP

Assuming when you say "save" you actually mean SAFE? It should be safe to do anything you described. I have never had any preamp, interface or mic get damaged by patching, whether on or off, or...

Re: Linking em up

To get an answer, we need to know the rest of the setup. What card(s) are in place and what connections are available? How many IO do you need? How many IO need to be analog and how many can be...

Re: Inconsistencies During Automation

Your best bet is to change your method. Instead of swiping across and trying to move the volume line across a selection, instead, drop break points and drag each to the level you want. Things that...

Re: Bouncing not aligned

2 things to consider:
1-delay on a master track is not compensated for(usually does not need to be).
2-as a quick experiment, instead of Bounce to Disk, select the master track and commit it. I...

Re: No output through built-in speakers

Hmmm, I was not aware of that so a good call. Their small interfaces sound very good. My only complaint was the output level(to monitors) was really low compared to several other interfaces:o

Re: No output through built-in speakers

The Behringer has its own Windows ASIO driver(and I would always use that if possible). If you must run PT without the Behringer, try Right-click on the Pro Tools icon and select to run with wasap(I...

Re: Random popping and clicking during playback (not heard in Bounce)

#1-this suggests that Windows is also using the Focusrite as its default playback device. Changing that so Windows uses the on-board sound card should allow PT to control the sample rate(so it stays...

Re: Pro Tools Express - ‘Move Unauthorized Plug-ins’ error

I know this is late, but....
If those 2 plugins are not needed, I would navigate to the plugins folder and remove them. You could delete them or move from the Plugins folder to the Plugins(unused)...
