I am seeing a problem where Pro Tools outputs are assigned to analog hardware outputs 1-24 to feed an analog...

Is it 83? depends on room volume. Larger dubbing rooms would be 85 dB SPL ref to 0 VU (old school), -20dBFS, etc.

Example: Dubbing Room D at The Lot when it was Warner Hollywood was set for...

If the room SPL is set properly for the room's size, you can then mix so that it feels right and guess what...it will be right.

Proper set up gives you the freedom and ability to mix correctly. ...

this is a classic, since the n key is next to the space bar and some people hit it without realizing it. Nice way to play a practical joke on yourself.

If your mix downmixed without Dialog, it probably means that the metadata was telling the downconvertor that it was already a stereo mix...thereby taking ch 1 Left and ch 5 Right as if they were ch 1...

AVID told me at NAB that if you have the newer HD Sync I/O, even if is is blue and silver, it will work with PT 11. so if your sync I/O can do 23.9, it should work.

Don't mix with cans...it's about more than freq response, there is a lot going on.

I have no problems automating EQ III or with any McDSP plugs, however, I am running McDSP as RTAS and have not yet downloaded the AAX versions.

this is on a Westmere 8 core running Lion with PT...

i see a lot of people trying to use Mountain Lion with Pro Tools before PT has qualified it. I don't know if that is your problem, but I am not sure that I understand why people are doing that...it...

Same here...Installed Eleven 8 into my PT 10HD Native system, made sure that LE versions were in my Unused Plugins folder.

Eleven does not show up in my Inserts.

So, I am probably doing...
