I cannot get the video engine to work properly. I have a 2018 Mac mini running os x 10.14.4

the "waiting for video engine to launch" progress bar fills up slowly but then does nothing once it...

still resetting as of upgrading to PT 10.3.4 I seem to remember pro tools crashing right before the preferences were lost, but ive had plenty of crashes where the preferences remain

this has happened to me 3 times this week...PT HD 10.3.3 running on OS X 10.8.2

Im going to upgrade to 10.3.4 and hope this solves the problem

im having the same issue here. happens a lot when going inbetween certain sessions. quiting pro tools and reopening fixes it. whats up with this?

well, the internal drive is going to be much faster (unless you use the esata on the glyph) as far as I know glyph does use seagate drives although I could be wrong. what it really comes down to is...

LE 7.4.2 on an early 2008 8 core mac pro with 6 gigs of ram APPEARS to work with OSX 10.5.6

moderate sized session...

I know this is the HD forum but It does it for me on a dual 2.16 macbook pro with 2 gigs of ram...7.3.1 quit and restart PT always fixes it for me and lasts at least a day.

your sends are pre-fader so you just have to press the P or Pre button to deactivate it. hope that works.

problem with 7.3.1

I just upgraded my 7.3 to 7.3.1 and any time theres an error window, or any message window that you have to press enter to get rid of, it switches over to the edit window from mix when I press enter....

there is a firmware update I believe that allows you to do just that. a presonus representative came to berklee the other day and that question was asked and that was the answer that was received.

Ill also have to try running the audio on my external which is 7200 rmp and firewire 800 which is what Ill use for audio anyways

sorry I didnt mention that. Im running an mbox 2 usb. I havent recorded anything yet, so playing a stereo track is all Ive done so far

I just got protools a couple days ago and I was running just a stereo track through protools and I get an error message saying that there's a cpu overload...Im running on a dual 2.16 ghz macbook pro...
