yea I am going to dig into that tonight. Apparently Gigabyte has an app that you can check for mobo updates as well. Might as well do that too.

hehe... I came to this thread naturally... this is where the IT guys tend to reside from time to time :rolleyes:

It is really simple what it does. I have a dual drive system of course... boot up...

welp I am only semi-computer illiterate, so I didn't know to check that!

It says at the time of bootup "JRAID" then error. I have no idea what that means:o

About every 20th time I boot up my studio computer, the session drive doesn't boot. It's almost like it gets skipped during the boot process. I do a reboot and it's fine.

It's not a huge problem...

BTW to all who helped me get my rig up and running, thank you all very much!! I ditched the Focusrite Saffire 40 and went with a MOTU 828mk3 Hybrid and it is working brilliantly.

by the way there is an issue, at least with the Asus wifi USB device I bought.
BSOD with PT10 while installing, then the BSOD crash, reboot conundrum. Don't do it! I removed the device and drivers...

ok got my pc built, just got my hardware/software in from Sweetwater today (Focusrite Saffire 40 + PTLE 10).

I'm a little nervous about installing the CPU the mobo - any tips on doing that? Apparently if you bend the pins you are screwed with no refund either.

I've noticed some i7 motherboard CPU combos?...
