Disabling the Install Options in Link's prefs should be sufficient, but you could instead quit Link before launching PT.

I've been testing various installers and so far have found at least one third party plug-in that interrupts iLok during its installation. That causes the error discussed in this thread on my system....

Thanks for confirming. You can right+click > Clear the Clip on the track to leave other instances.

Are you clearing it on the track or in the CLIPS bin? The latter will remove other instances.

Looks like a different issue since you have a DigiLink license. Your case shows the problem was resolved by a firmware update on your HDX card. All good?

Tried here - though I am on macOS 10.15.7 - and the video frames show correctly. If you can't solve this we might want to get a session and short video file from you to test.

The subscription is not a crossgrade, so you'd still have your perpetual license. If you let the Software Updates + Support Plan expire you could keep using your perpetual license with the PT...

You have multiple PT products, and the one that's $9.99 is a Perpetual to Subscription Crossgrade, which is why it's discounted for the first 2 years. I'll start a case so we can match up System IDs...
