haaaa.. actually, I just fixed it. In PREFERENCES> OPERATIONS>MISC --- unclick "mouse wheel scrolling snaps to track"...

Thank God-- that was giving me a headache

Is anyone having any trouble using the MAC magic trackpad to scroll vertically in the edit window? When I use two fingers to move around the edit window..the SPEED of the adjustment is super fast...
