There's an upgrade page on the Digi site. You have to download a Request Form to fill out and send in with a copy of your receipt.

I received my upgrade disk today for the new MBox I bought that...

Re: Congrates DIGI for Excellent Customer Service

It looks like your core complaint is with the product itself and the frustrations of product design and development. I hope I don't run into the problems you encountered. Digi is probably aware...

Re: Congrates DIGI for Excellent Customer Service

At least with Digi, I'm getting my update. I'll wait if I have to. Unlike Steinberg, where I can't even get an answer.

Congrates DIGI for Excellent Customer Service

My MBox arrived yesterday and I was disappointed to see that I had version 6.4 of PT. I immediately went to the Digi website and easily found the info I needed to get a free upgrade to 6.7. My...

Re: Yamaha buys Steinberg

Yamaha has a long history in the music industry. I don't see how aquiring Steinberg will kill off Steinberg's software products.

Avid didn't kill off PT.

Re: Chipsets - please help

Yes it is.

You don't write software that can't be upgraded to the lastest hardware. Digi's problem is that they are way to sloooooowwww in getting it done. If Digi never rewrote their software...

Re: Digi slow in keeping up with technology advanc

bb, the newest Intel chipsets are the 915 and 925. Why do you down play the significance of being able to run PT on the lastest hardware?

The new chipsets support a different pin array for the...

Re: Digi slow in keeping up with technology advanc

Superpenguin, you really don't get it.

Digi is advising us users NOT to use 915 and 925 chipsets. You seem to think you have magical knowledge that the programmers of ProTools lack.

Why don't...

I want to use an Intel motherboard with the 925 chipset. Digi says they don't support it and there are reported problems.

So why can't I expect to use the latest hardware with ProTools? Is that...

Maybe Digi will have it completed by the time Intel releases their 64 bit...

Re: MBox on Dell

If the new computer has the new Intel 925 or 915 chipset, I thought those were not compatible with PT and it will not run until Digi provides an update supporting those chipsets.

Re: Problems: Mbox + MIDI USB devices?

USB 1 is a complete subset of USB 2 so there shouldn't be any problem running USB 2 devices off a USB 1 interface.
