Crossgrades from PCI to PCI-E discontinued ??

I just heard from a dealer that Digi has discontinued HD Accel PCI - PCI-E card crossgrades with no heads up, IE as of this morning.

If its true, I hope they reconsider as I have several clients...

We have a delay of the start of the picture streaming out of the canopus when playing a protools session. Its not consistent in the number of frames.

we are presently using a canopus firewire box to output video to a large standard monitor for clients but the latency is a problem.

Am looking at the aja KONA LSe for our macpro/HD accel...

FYI it is not resolved at this point, I had to do a lousy workaround for now on our legacy protools machine and then importing the tracks. Same...

ran mem test on the ram - came up clean. Deleted DS_store files.

tried the .dat sample files from other drives - still crashing.

zapped all caches, even tried newer version of PT 7.3cs3, clean...

Mark,

its a 2 year old dual processor 2.5ghz G5 tower. Not an Intel Mac.
Spectrasonics is supposed to be releasing an Intel Mac version this fall.

Was hoping someone might have had experience with weird crashes when either Atmosphere or Trilogy plug in is opened.

The plugins have been working fine with OS X10.4.8 on a Dual G5 2.5...
