For more natural stereo miking, try A-B configuration. the mics should not be more than 64cm apart and on-axis with bass drum. this sounds way better than the usuall stereo pair over the drummers...

* in OMS check so that the unit is present in your "studios setup" and that one of the little arrows in the setup-tree points at the PROTEUS but not from it. ie MIDI...
