I ended up getting a 550w powers supply with a Asus P5Q mobo and a Intel Core 2 E7400. 2 gigs of ram.

I installed PT8 from the dvd....on my Athlon XP 3000+ machine a few weeks ago....

no luck.

Hope digi solves this but doesn't look too positive without some hardware upgrades.

It is formatted as a basic NTFS. I even formatted it a second timem to assure that wasn't a mistake.. Took like an hour and a half to format it.
