I'll keep an eye out for an octo pre but new there 900 bucks here so it's a rort. I can't buy from the US as I need 240 volt and a converter is just too much gear.

18i8 has 8 inserts but only 4 pres. It has light pipe so I can add an Octo or a Berenger 8200. The octo will add 4 pres at 96 or 8 at 48khz. Undecided yet on 44.1 or 96. Someone Rolfe me it goes down...

Purchased a new FW cable with same result. Tried all the different Avid 003 drivers and had issues with older versions so back to the latest version.

I may try a new download of the Latest PT 11...
