This is useful info. We draw the OLED screens in an off window. Some have seen this as with 3 screens it sometimes appears. I wonder if turning the monitor off is causing issues with this. I'll try...

OK, so its overnight. Something must be happening during the night.....is there a virus checker running? Updates? Its hard to tell. If you collect the logs(from the EuControl Icon) that may help.

Locking this thread and pinning to the top of the forum. If you have a Dock that cannot update the firmware, please open a ticket with Avid. If its within 30 days, you can get a direct replacement...

Please reread my post. We do not know which chips are faulty and out of thousands only a few have failed. To recall 4000 Docks to check and repair would leave 4000 customers without Docks for an...

Unfortunately, Avid were supplied with a batch of memory chips that were used in Docks over the past year or more. Of the Docks shipped in the past 2 years we are seeing a few with the failed chip....

Is this a newer Dock. There was a known issue with some memory chips that fail the firmware update. Only fix is to return to Avid for a replacement, Sorry.

As a layout can contain tracks from all over the session and even other workstations this is not possible. A new feature coming in the next PT feature release is scroll Edit/Mix to Surface selected...

I don't see any reason why the latest wouldn't work. We haven't tested it but Windows is pretty good at compatibility.

Have you tried to uninstall(using the EUCON installer) and check remove all Apps and remove all settings, reboot and install again.

Its working and due to go out to beta testers in a couple of weeks. As a bonus we added the softkeys to the meters screen as a new block you can add in. Really good for knowing what they are and...

What did you install? EuControl or EUCONWS? You need the former. When its running it will be an icon down in the notification taskbar.

Every time a user reconfigures their surface....a layout gets recalled. I don't think this would be to everyone's liking.

It's not stupid that removing part of a mixing console halfway through a session causes the surface to reset to its new configuration. Certain things have to be the way they are to allow the complex...

I think this is different, he's saying EuControl? It would be a good data point though to test running in Rossetta mode and see if it helps. (We do see this issue and are working on it)
