Good items to check. It is a USB connection to the focusrite. In device management, usb power management was enabled, so i disabled that.



Also, its a NVMe SSD drive.

Well it was the Dell bloatware. Machine doesnt freeze up PT every 20 minutes now. I think the takeaway is reinstall windows cleanly if you can!
