Support told me that after updating the firmware I still could use older PT versions. I fear that i kill something with the required firmware...

Did a test on one machine with high sierra on an 5.1 2010 MacPro with High Sierra. No Metal Graph

Sessions load and play with no problem.

Could it be that you accidently mounted a network volume?
Lets say a volume from another station.
If the volume has the same name it could happen...

I am not familiar with what frame rates you work in US.

Assuming that 30 Frames are normal you double your data if you work with 60 frames, And then when you choose a higher (unneccesary)...

So now I imported the original Aaton Files.
They had all metadata and PT did find all tracks.
And they are in Sync. ;-)

When you say you just import AAF und you also get the multichannel files.
What do I make wrong cause I only see the track that is in the timeline.

In Mediacomposer the tracknames are imported
I do not understand where they get lost but I will investigate together with the production...
