No, it's not for video editing. In addition to other important features, DV Toolkit is required for time code and feet/frames capabilities. You will need it to do serious audio for video/film work....

Strange...I'm also on a Pentium 4 system and do this all the time, with no problems.

You really don't need a $350 meter. I've got a $50 Tandy that I've checked against my much pricier Fluke, and it's dead on. In any case, a serious studio really should have a good multi-meter...

Cedar declip module. It DOES work miracles.

I see it the other way around. Cellphones are transmitting on FCC authorized frequencies, at FCC authorized power levels. They are operating correctly, within spec. Manufacturers of audio equipment...

What you're describing should work fine. If you're getting digital throughput, it should be appearing on the analog outputs as well. No need to arm tracks, just press ALL INPUT.

I've done it simply as a test, and it decoded fine. Obviously, be sure to make your session 24 bit.
