I found a used Pre that was sold for parts. I powers on, but is stuck. The font panel doesn’t respond to buttons or knobs.

It kinda makes sense. I just moved my rig from an old rack to a new one. I'll definitely check those cables. Thanks. Upon doing a Digitest I now iced that the firmware on the 192 I/O's are different....

I have two 192 I/O 's. One has input and output cards that have yellow calibration pot and the other one has blue pots. The blue pots appear to be much hotter. The blue pot units have some hum also...

HD PCI-X Cards

I know the PCI-X cards only work with Power Mac G5's. What is the last version of Pro Tools HD for the HD Accel Cards?

What' a good price for a used 192 or 96 I/O? It looks like most sellers are removing the cards in the 192's and selling the cards had I/O cases seperately.

Can't figure this out. The Sync I/O is set as the loop master, it the time clock is still not running with pro tools. It's not moving when it's the loop slave and the 192 is the master. The drop...

Just installed PT HD9 on my laptop and it works fine without the Native Card! I know I'm not buying a Native Card, now. All I want is the PT HD10 authorization.

Just curious as to why do we need the Native Card? I have Peo Tools HD9 on my Mac Pro with a HD setup in the studio. I just install PT HD9 on my laptop and it opens and plays Pro Tools HD just fine....

Control/24 Mic Pre

Who really uses the mic pre's in the Control/24. If I bought one; would this be a big plus? Are they any good? Keep in mind I use an Avalon VT737sp.
