Especially with the iLok 3's. They are pretty solid. But traveling with them, I can see the concern.
But you could always upload them to the cloud, and download to local iLok when at destination.

Control - has always been the KC for selected tracks. Option - is for all tracks.

Not sure the KC you are showing but it sees the option - command.

Yeah, 50 bucks is a reasonable amount for studio and ultimate. AVID always over prices things and users start bailing.
