Updater Not Seeing the Already Installed Software
I'm trying to update my old MixPlus system from 5.1 to 5.1.1. The installer won't run because it keeps telling me that I must have 5.1 already installed. I do have 5.1 already installed, so why...

Re: Superclock Require Termination?
Thnks for your responses. Valeri, I was told by Apogee that if a termination status LED on the Big Ben doesn't light, that the device attached to that WC out may be un-terminated, or it may also mean...

Superclock Require Termination?
Hi. Thanks for looking. I have an Apogee Big Ben. One of the word clock outs is sending superclock to a chain of superclock devices (Apogee AD-8000, two 888I/O's, and two ADAT Bridges). Should I...

Superclock Cable Length
I did a search, and it appears nothing has been said on the subject in the last few years, so I was wondering if opinions have changed or developed from the old belief that 18 inches is the limit....

Re: Digi Dynamics Plug-In Causing System Crash
I am using ProTools 5.1.1. I have re-installed the Dynamics II plug-in from my 5.1 install CD. Could that be the problem?
I don't have, and don't recall having a 5.1.1 install CD. It may have...

Re: Digi Dynamics Plug-In Causing System Crash
Thanks for replying, k man.
Yes, I have tried that, and the computer crashes just the same way that the original session does, that is, when it is reactivating the gate plug-in.

Digi Dynamics Plug-In Causing System Crash
The Digi Gate plug-in is working fine on other sessions, but I have a 'problem session' that will crash the computer everytime I open it, unless I remove the Dynamics II plug-in from the DAE Folder...

Thanks Nika and Lee.
This is a little off the subject, but Nika's last reply makes me think that perhaps I don't actually need the Rosendahl Nanoclocks word clock distribution amplifier that I'm...

Re: What is the recommended cable length for superclock?
Thanks for the quick reply, Nika. You're always very helpful. I will try, but I don't know if I can get two 888's and two ADAT Bridges to all be within a foot of the superclock source (I'm...

Re: Aardsync or Nanosync?
I checked out the Massenburg thread on the Lucid. Does anyone on this site have any opinions on or experiences with comparing the Lucid SSG192 to the Nanosync or Aardsync?
