Old man wrist/Pen?/Programable Mouse?

Glad still exists! Been over a decade since I was here last.

I'm not young anymore. The mouse is killing my wrist. Anybody use a stylus for recording/mixing audio? Or recommend a programmable...

Not that it really matters. Everything works great with my rig. I wouldn't dream of upgrading from 7.4 until all the bugs are worked...

I have 2 close friends who are grammy winning producer/engineers here in Nashville, they use Nuendo. There are also a couple of "household name" guys I know of that use Nuendo.

Oh Yeah... Bass Extremes. Vic did a few projects over here with Kurt. I always loved when Vic came in. I'd give him a studio key and he'd sometimes work all night... by himself. Shoulda charged him...

Acoustical noise from the panel. Like I said this was years ago... back before they were ultra thin. Maybe it was fan noise? I don't remember but there was audible noise coming from the 2 or 3 units...

I think my main use for DSM would be on upright bass. I do a ton of acoustic music and spend a lot of time automating volume on weak bass notes. If I understand the video correctly DSM...

Hey 25G,
I usually just write esses down with volume automation. By the time I get to the mix I already know where the culprits are and can easily spot them... drop em down until they sound right....

Take a couple of minutes and write esses down with automation or gain plug is my solution also. I like the way 25Ghosts is thinking, very creative... but I think my way may be...

If you're interested in non DVD archiving... here's my system.
I use an external FW AIT tape drive. Backs up 80 gig uncompressed using Retrospect. 2 AIT tapes per project... keep one at the studio.....
