This issue has been resolved in the latest version of Pro Tools (2021.6). Finally!

Yeah, you are so right :eek: I guess only calling it a "sidechain latency compensation issue" really doesn't do it justice really - since all sends lack latency compensation.

I see what you mean and you're right :-) but I should clarify something.

The UAD plugins that I mentioned are not doing any sidechaining. The sidechaining is done with a FF Pro-C 2 or something...

Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried a similar sidechain plugin previously and it didn't work, but this one might be different. I'll check it out, thanks :)

One year later and absolutely no progress has been made regarding this issue. I'm so tired of freezing all the latent tracks in my session every time I want sidechain delay compensation.. :(
