Yes No doubt alternatives will appear and is a good thing. And I think the guy in the video just got in a bit of a hurry. Although press fit always involves the possibility of breakage :(.

Ya just saw a video about that (Note for example I am already at 226.4 Gb of used space on my M1 Pro MBP that I am typing this on )

Unfortunately in that video the guy cracked the bottom...

Kind of a silly totally subjective question don't ya think ?

To do what exactly comes to mind ? Record a few tracks audio in ones bedroom ? likely not.
Run Abby Road studio ? definitely...
