Take a look at people trying to open up the Mini and breaking the first piece they remove. Also I'm not sure how you'd buy the nand card. I've only seen a brave owner trying to solder new nands onto...

256gb storage can be come irritating, but I've been able to work with it on an M1 for a few years.
