Correct me if I am wrong. But I did not think that the venue snake was MADI. I though it was in development before MADI came out and digi stuck with their own protocol they had been developing.

The first thing I would do is download the stand alone software and play with it. When I first started that was the most helpful to me as far as learning patching routing and buss structure.

Did you take it off of the directs page or the outputs page? If you take it off of the directs you can choose Top of channel, Pre fader or post fader.

I have never had a issue using my venue to charge my IPOD or Iphone. Also I have been using a 2g iphone to control my console. However, I just got a 3g so I will try that tomorrow.
