Really? I was getting 32+30 on my Athlon64 3000+ (k8v deluxe, 512 ddr400) to a second hd at 24bit/44.1, 128 buffer.

Am I missing something?

My problem with it (and why I now use a G5 for all...

Thought I'd share my new PTLE rigg. I didn't have a ton of money to spend so I went with this:

Athlon64 3000+
512mb Corsair CMX DDR 400
Asus K8v Deluxe
