Re: PT9+Yamaha DM2K= I need help with MMC

How did you get HUI to work? I had it working fine with PT v6.4. I upgraded to HD9 and it stopped working. Using the same MacBook Pro on an 01V96, it works. I've never gotten MMC to work. I've tried...

Re: Mac OSX 10.6.7 & Pro Tools?

I'd do a Carbon Copy Clone of the drive before I tried it. I just upgraded an iMac at work but made a backup to go back to if anything is wrong.

Re: Apogee Minime Purchase

Take a look at Sound Devises USB Pre. It won't do 24/96 but will do 24/48. It's a 2 mic pre, two line in, plus spdif I/O and connects via USB. I've used it with Mac OS 9 and OSX and PC. It's a...

Re: Help getting flat vocals - recording newbie Q

The Presonus should be very clean but I've heard the the Blueberry has a very distinct color. Try a different mic. Borrow a few if you can.

Re: Test: three mics-YOU rate them

I give a 3, 4, 1. The second sounded the most natural while the 1st was a little too reinforced and the last was kinda' muddy.
