This is still giving me a lot of trouble with PT 11.2.1 HD. How are you dealing with this? are you working with PT10? Any workarounds?

I am missing the control+numpad 0~9 shortcut for previewing clips at different speeds.
I have found this on PT native systems running Lion. HDs are working fine. Snow leopard works fine too.

Suddenly automation starts to operate about 1 second before.
I lose signal paths, either busses or outputs. (but just one)...

I am the person in charge of the whole audio-post process. I receive the production sound DATs and go all the way to the re-recording stage, Dolby encoding and checking the first copy....

If you are not going to print on film, 2 channel stereo must be enough, without Dolby. All the pro video decks (Betacam SP ...,) have a built in Dolby NR, so you don't have to worry about that.
