I don't think you can switch it unfortunately. It's a new feature that is causing havoc.

I'm not sure what you are referring to with the EDITING tab in preferences.

When my AJA video card fan started making a lot of noise, I just ripped the fan off. I think it was just a connector and glued down, if I recall.

It was 2 or 3 years ago. I haven't had a problem...

Yes… I’m using s1 with m1 ultra. Everything seems fine. My transition to m1 ultra from a 2019 MacBook Pro on Catalina has been fine. Only issue is having to replace a couple of incompatible plugins.

I've been using a Sonnet Echo III with Thunderbolt 3 for my HDX and AJA Kona card with the Mac Studio. Works fine. Sonnet is loud though. I have it in an isobox with 2 HD I/O and Sync I/O

I have my hdx card and bm intensity in the same echo thunderbolt chassis. I use them with my MacBook pro running the studio. Works fine with no issues.
