it doesn't seem to be related to cs3... we've been able to reproduce with 8.0 and cs2 as well.... on a variety of hardware setups.

just make sure the video deck is the master and you'll see the...

i think it works that way because whenever you dont have automation on a track, it is essentially in manual mode and any settings become the default setting on the track when automation is...

the only problem with that is i would have two more 'dummy' tracks cluttering up my already cluttered session and even more dissatisfying is that on the ICON its really great to have your cedar track...

the 46080 setting results in a file that is 4% longer... which is right.
the 46034 setting also results in a file that is 4% longer.... which is wrong.

you can do it in PT8... check out plugin mapping in the manual. I've remapped the MDW eq and its become dramatically more useful on the channel strips now.

given the multitudes of issues with speakerphone, i doubt its digidesign's fault, but speakerphone 1.1.1 still is nearly unusable due to GUI issues (can't turn on/off modules) even in 8.0cs2....

I've had the same issue Studio Studio... i've found i am able to turn a particular module off by right clicking and selecting set to default value... i can then usually get it to turn back on by...
