I upgraded to PT10 / 11 :D Was bloody expensive :(

PT11 will be waiting a while, not even sure if this old MacBook Pro will handle it, unless there is a performance boost built in! ;)

I bought the PT10 disk from Avid last year so I could try out the demo, I should have got my demo activation code then! :mad: I was still using PTLE8, so I had the install disk for that, my Avid...

There's PTLE various versions discs in the Avid store for sale under Accessories / Replacement Discs / Audio discs.

There is no Email support address given on the site for Digidesign products only M-Audio?????? http://www.avid.com/us/support/index.aspx

It's as if Avid / Digidesign has deleted all older versions...

PTLE needs to be set up to be the slave to MTC/SMPTE...

I've done this many times back & forth & running together with PTLE slaved to SMPTC / MTC with a Phillip Rees sync box. not since PTLE 6.0 though! It's not that hard to do just make PTLE slave to MTC...

I had a similar problem for ages, I reinstalled all drivers including USB fom the start up disks that came with my PC & now it works.

Should be able to do this without installing a new version of...
