Program Changes on MIDI track?

Pardon the MIDI 101 question, but I'm very basic with MIDI use.

I'm trying to add program changes to a MIDI track, but I can only seem to add one. When I try to add another, it removes the 1st.

Re: dig 002 - is it still viable?

I'm in a similar boat as MikeyB except that I haven't purchased the MacBook Pro yet (set up in sig), and my 002 rig is up & running. But yeah, gathering compatibility info for an aging system has...

Re: How to identify chipset in external hard drive?

That's the thing. I did get this on eBay. And though it was listed as new, the box wasn't sealed in a way that the drive couldn't have been minipulated & put back in the box.

With the other drive...

Re: How to identify chipset in external hard drive?

Maybe I should've been more clear. Is a chipset something that can be removed? Or could I just have a Glyph shell with no-frills guts?

The drive is new but it just comes in a box... nothing...

How to identify chipset in external hard drive?

I have 2 Glyph GT050Q drives, one 1TB and one 500GB. The 1TB drive appears to be a newer model as the box & graphics on the drive are a bit different. But I'd expect to see identical info under...

Re: Help with Playback Engine Settings

Got it working again. Anyone have inconsistent behavior like this from a drive? Is this likely a FW cable issue?

My replacement drive should be here today. If I have the same issue, I'm going to...

Re: Help with Playback Engine Settings

This is killing me slow. After formatting & saving files to the drives, I was no longer able to get my CPU to recognize one of the drives. Tried everything I could think of.

Sent the drive back...

Re: Drum Bus/Group/Compression Routing Questions

I thought so.

I figured out my problem regarding not being able to completely control volume & mute with my drum master bus. I had the p/comp busses sending out to a tape saturation bus, routing...

Not sure why I can't figure this out as I've been able to do this in the past.

Re: Drum Bus/Group/Compression Routing Questions

I've always used 2 aux tracks so that I could copy/disable the plugins to/on the clean kit to avoid phasing. Do you have a better way of dealing with this? Or are you on PT10?

Re: Drum Bus/Group/Compression Routing Questions

I'll check them out. I think Solo Safe is what I'm missing.

Hmmm... Don't I need 1 for the crushed kit and another for the cleaner kit?
