Yeah, but the problem with the reDrum is that it is not able to do velocity layers. The NS Kit has MANY...maybe I'll pick up the 008. It would be nice if the XT had it though.

Yeah, I've been using automated delays ALOT recently in the project I've been mixing. It's the right tool in some scenarios, wrong in others. At that slow tempo I wouldn't use a delay plug in at all....

Remember, these are mod+delay plugs. If you don't want phase/chorus/flange then set the depth, and rate sliders to 0. I use them constantly, particularly in a send/return configuration on aux tracks...

Yeah, the Apogee out is the 8 CH. version, would be nice if there was a less $$$ one that was only 2 CH. The card is $1200+. Not ridiculous, especially considering what you would have after, but...
