Gotcha. But that suggests that Apple changed that functionality from the old QuickTime Player 7 to the the “new and improved” QuickTime Player so that mono files would only play mono (1:1)?

Thanks Ned- that solution is viable...except for the fact that I want to batch export them from the clip bin as mp3 files- and not just have the wav files from the Audio Files folder.
