MP 7.3 and LE 7.1 on the same computer... nope

I just upgraded my M-Powered liscense to 7.3 and I am now unable to run both versions on the same computer. After I installed MP7.3, LE was completely uninstalled, gone from the dock and apps folder....

I ran 6.4 on 10.3.9 for a few months before upping to tiger and pt7.... never had a single problem.
If you use the Core Audio Driver, I personally recommend version 6.5.2 and don't upgrade...

I just checked the LaCie site and realized that they don't make the drive I have anymore.... I have an older D2 that has 2 FW400 ports.... now I guess they all have the "triple interface." My bad. ...

I've been using a 120GB D2 for two years now as my main recording drive and can vouch for its reliability. I've run it on an Al PBG4 with the 002R... I've had it hooked up through a hub, and daisy...

Exact same problem here on a powerbook with a 002R... 10.4.2... 6.9.2cs4. It's not like I have an entire PT system so that I can video chat on reference monitors... but this used to work with 6.4...

not sure... you might have the track in PT set to the wrong input. I do that sometimes... when I bring up multiple tracks and forget that PT automatically creates the tracks with sequential inputs. ...

This sounds like the same problem I'm having... ever since I installed 10.3.9, AMS won't recognize the MIDI I/O on the 002R. I think it's a problem with the OS. Sorry... I wish had a solution for...

You have to configure a device in AMS (Mac HD/Apps/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup) in order for it to show up in your list of options. Read my RE to the other post on how to do it for the MV.... same...

PT should tell you if there's a firmware upgrade when you launch it... if not then you're updated. Is there an error number when PT tells you to increase buffer size?... I would still install reason...

first... install Reason on the system drive.... that should help.... I run PTLE 6.4 along with Reason on a powerbook G4 1.25 with no problem, so your MINI should handle your setup fine... it might be...
