Alright, this morning i stopped by radio shack and picked up the ferrite snap-on. They didn't have a ground loop isolator, and the snap on had no effect. I finally fixed the issue when disconnected...

I will see if Radioshack carries them tomorrow thanks. My local geek squad also recomended a ground loop isolater like the url below. Would somthing like this help?

Digi has dropped support for the original mbox in PT 8.01 and later. sorry. The good news is your 002 is still being supported.

I just got a new laptop and when i plug either my 002 rack or my mbox mini in i hear an electronic humming in my monitors. I searched around some and isolated the problem to my computers power supply...

Good News! The MME helper got Itunes to work. :-) Unfortunately all the music i play sounds choppy, and generally like it is being attacked by an army of robots. Still it is good to hear something...
