In my home studio situation, I am happy to continue with the ISDN setup, as I can connect cheaply to my clients - mostly in the U.S., for about $6.00...

Digi moderator - any ideas on this? It is a real pain closing and opening Pro Tools everytime I use the plugs.

The Firewire enclosure is a Bytec ME-740F 3.5 inch Aluminum external - the drive is a Seagate Barracuda 7200 Plus - 160 gig - 8mb cache- ATA 100. I'm afraid I can't offer an opinion on any other...

I do have only one open at a time, processing the file one plug-in after another. I just tried to process another track and got a similar message, but this time referring to 2 channels. Very odd.

Considering that iTunes, even under OS9 would encode at 320k it would seem to make sense that Pro Tools would offer the same. Encoding to MP3 is bad enough, but encoding something you've worked hard...
