I got used to bypassing the delay comp on the Master Fader (cntrl + command + click on the indicator) if I had mastering plugs inserted...

I am using a LinkSys "EZXS88W" 8 port workgroup switch. It worked great until PT 7.

I haven't tried it direct to Mac.

I worked an 11 hour session on Sat. with no problems.

I worked 14 hrs...

With Delay Comp, it is not what you highlight (or see) but rather what you hear.

When mastering I may use multiple Waves linear plugins.

Because the mastering plugins induce more then 4095 of sample latency. Sometimes mixes work better if the components of the mix are mastered seperatly before they are sent to the master fader.
