Why would you want to use PT6.4 if you were going to run it on a computer of that spec?You could just run PT8 and be totally up to date?

Yeah the G4 Dual optical from late 2002 was the last dual processor machine that could run OS9 and the largest processor size was 1.25ghz.

Pro Tools will not run on a mac running OS 9 in classic mode. Which is what is described in the links you provided. Classic mode is how you can run some OS9 apps in OSX, it does not support every OS9...

Yeah but your spec states with PT7.4!as I said no problems with 7, but my Bluetooth is not working right with PT8.

That is just me with a MacBook pro 2.4,
I'm not sure if anyone else has the same problem?And as I said,it is fine to use when mixing with the buffer set higher. I do like my Bluetooth MM.

No.
Not under PT8 with a low buffer setting!
With my mighty mouse PT7 worked fine!And 8 works if the buffer is set at about 256ish. With it set at its lowest it gives errors after a short time....

I would also try including the os drive in spotlight's items to not index. I have done this with mine and used a terminal prompt to stop spotlight altogether. Other than that you need to keep trying...
