surround dithered mixer

hi all, where can i download the surround dithered mixer for pro tools 9? for some reason i only have the "surround mixer" and not the dithered version. thanks!

input assignments reverting

how come when i assign "no input" to a track with a no longer valid input path, it always reverts back to the invalid path when i close and re-open it?

yeah, it seems like a bug we'll have to live with for now, cause even when i straighten out the i/o in the i/o window and re-assign tracks, it still comes up wrong the next time i open the session...

path definitions error

"some paths were made inactive because they could not be assigned existing path definitions"

i always get this message on opening sessions, and even when i reset the offending paths to "no input"...

there's no answer to this... you just have to choose different playback engines and convert tdm plugins to rtas until it works again. just one of the hassles of a dsp based daw....

this question is still not answered! hmmm.. does anyone know? my current session is using 90 out of 160 voices and there are 7 chips completely empty, but i'm still getting "dsp n/a" when trying to...

can't draw midi notes

hey all, pt is not letting me draw midi notes in some spots of the piano roll editor. other spots i can draw. i'm using 8.1cs1 on os 10.6.4. any ideas? seems very strange.

where can i download the full installer for pro tools m-powered 8? i'm setting up a new computer and don't have the original install, and my 8.0.3 update requires that 8.0 already be installed....

i thought all the mixer dsp was handled on the chips allocated for that, ie, when you allocate 4 chips for 128 voices, you get 128 voices guaranteed, when you allocate 5 chips for 160 voices, you get...

open session w/o plug-ins

supposedly, you can open pro tools sessions with deactivated plug-ins by shift clicking to open a session file. this does not work for me. does anyone know how to make it happen?
